Airport and aeronautical

We continue being a part of the project to modernize the radio aid systems of airports nationwide and in the second phase we carried out the restoration and equipment of the radio beacon system station located on Taboga Island, Panama.

In this project and in Alliance with THALES one of our allies, we installed a DVOR 432 equipment associated with a DME 435 distance meter, thus helping the approaches made to the international airports of Tocumen, Marcos A.Gelabert and Panama Pacific.

The project included among other activities, the engineering and restoration of the station’s infrastructure, which included the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a radio link between the station and the new control center of the Civil Aeronautical Authority for control and remote monitoring, as well as the supply and installation of telecommunications and security systems.
